Rosen
Tierney is an executive function coach with over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Monmouth University and has supported students in a variety of educational settings, including five years as a paraprofessional in a middle school and currently as a learning strategist at a therapeutic high school. In her current role, she teaches psychology and supports students across subjects, helping them develop academic skills and emotional resilience.
Tierney specializes in working with students in grades 8 through 12, including those with diverse learning needs and emotional challenges. Her coaching focuses on building essential executive function skills such as organization, time management, task initiation, and emotional regulation.
What sets Tierney apart is her ability to connect with students on a personal level. She believes in meeting each learner where they are and creating a supportive, encouraging space for growth. Tierney finds great joy in helping students build confidence, independence, and a sense of ownership over their learning—and she says she learns just as much from her students as they do from her.
